Presight Strengthens AI Partnerships to Drive Digital Transformation Across Africa
Presight, a leading global AI company, has taken significant steps to expand its footprint in Africa by signing separate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the governments of Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, and Gabon. These new agreements underscore Presight’s commitment to supporting the national digital transformation initiatives of each country and further solidify its growing presence across the continent.
Through these collaborations, Presight will work alongside national institutions to design and deploy intelligent digital systems that integrate data, analytics, and automation into public sector operations. The goal is to strengthen digital infrastructure and enhance government service delivery.
In Côte d’Ivoire, Presight has enhanced its partnership with the government through two MoUs with the Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitisation and the Ministry of State, Public Services and Modernisation of the Administration. These agreements pave the way for the development of advanced digital platforms aimed at improving data management, fostering agency coordination, and enhancing the efficiency of public administration. The overarching objective is to support Côte d’Ivoire’s ambition to emerge as a regional hub for digital innovation.
Anne Désirée Ouloto said,
“This strategic collaboration marks a critical turning point in the digital transformation of our public administration, laying the foundation for a long-term partnership that’s decisively future-focused. With this alliance, Côte d’Ivoire is poised to become the leading hub for AI and tech innovation across West Africa. We are deeply grateful for Presight’s exceptional dedication to sharing its cutting-edge technological expertise. Together, we are building a modern, data-driven, and citizen-centric administration – one that exemplifies high performance, transparency, and forward-thinking governance.”
In Burkina Faso, Presight has signed an MoU with the Ministry of Digital Transition, Posts and Electronic Communications to advance the national digital transformation agenda and reinforce digital infrastructure. This partnership will focus on leveraging AI-enabled digital systems to improve public service delivery, boost financial transparency, enhance treasury management, and build a comprehensive cybersecurity framework to safeguard critical national systems.
The collaboration also involves the launch of initiatives to foster local innovation and talent development, notably through the AI Expert Factory to train engineers and the establishment of the Ouaga Granit Valley Centre, a hub intended to accelerate the growth of Burkina Faso’s AI startup ecosystem.
Dr Aminata Zerbo/Sabane said,
“Presight’s leadership in AI make them an ideal partner to support our vision of digital sovereignty. This collaboration reflects Burkina Faso’s commitment to building a secure, inclusive, and innovation-driven digital future that empowers citizens, strengthens institutions, and unlocks new economic opportunities.”
In Gabon, Presight most recently renewed its agreement with the government and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Innovation to support and accelerate the country’s ongoing digital transformation and the modernization of public services through artificial intelligence.
Dr Adel Alsharji said,
“Across Africa, governments are increasingly exploring how artificial intelligence can support economic development, strengthen institutions, and modernise public services. At Presight, our focus is on designing and deploying intelligent systems that integrate data, automation, and advanced analytics directly into the operational environments governments rely on every day. Our partnerships with these governments across Africa reflect a shared ambition to build national digital platforms that operate at scale, strengthen institutional capability, and enable faster, more informed decision-making across government systems. By working closely with our partners, we aim to support long-term digital transformation that strengthens institutions and delivers tangible benefits for citizens.”
The recent MoUs build on Presight’s expanding operations in Africa, where the company continues to drive AI and digital transformation efforts with governments and institutions. Presight has also initiated pilot projects, partnerships, and digital innovation programmes in countries such as Angola, Republic of Congo, Gambia, Mauritius, Seychelles, Tanzania, Zambia, and Uganda.
These developments come at a time when AI investment across Africa is experiencing rapid growth. The African Development Bank Group and the United Nations Development Programme have recently launched a $10 billion initiative to accelerate responsible AI adoption and foster inclusive digital economic growth throughout the continent. This follows the UAE’s AI for Development initiative, announced in 2025, which provides $1 billion to support AI projects in African countries.
