flydubai Expands Kenya Operations with New Nairobi Route and Increased Mombasa Flights
Dubai-based airline flydubai has unveiled plans to launch new flights to Nairobi International Airport (NBO) in Kenya, commencing on 15th October 2025. The service will operate from Terminal 3, Dubai International (DXB), with a four-times-weekly frequency.
Alongside the introduction of flights to Nairobi, flydubai will also enhance its current operations to Mombasa, increasing to a daily service starting 1st October 2025. This expansion brings the airline’s overall weekly flights to Kenya to 11.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, commented on the announcement.
According to Ghaith Al Ghaith, “These flights underline the importance of connecting Kenya to Dubai’s global aviation hub, enhancing access for trade, travel and tourism between our two countries. We remain committed to playing our part in supporting stronger economic and cultural ties between the UAE and Africa.”
This latest network expansion reflects flydubai‘s ongoing strategy to not only improve connectivity between the UAE and key African destinations, but also to foster economic growth and cultural exchange.
