Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates, met with Prime Minister Americo d’Oliveira dos Ramos of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe on 1st June, 2025, during an official visit to the country’s capital, Sao Tome.
During the meeting, Sheikh Shakhboot conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to Prime Minister dos Ramos. He also shared their wishes for continued development and prosperity for the government and people of Sao Tome and Principe.
In reciprocation, Prime Minister dos Ramos extended his greetings to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, along with his hopes for further prosperity and growth for the UAE’s government and citizens.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations, with both sides exploring cooperation in fields such as sustainable development and energy. The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing collaborative efforts with the goal of advancing shared goals in economic and social development for both nations.
